What do you love most about your job?
Talking to my (mostly) fascinating patients who continue to amaze me with their lives and their sometimes unwise antics that bring them to see me.
What’s your favourite thing to do on a day off?
I am an amateur wood worker who tries to make furniture without losing any fingers.
What or who inspired you to choose medicine as a career?
My father and big brother.
What do you find the most challenging in your everyday work?
Fatigue, management and patient expectations.
What’s the next big thing in your field?
Percutaneous surgery – especially around the forefoot with bunion and lesser toe correction.
What is your greatest achievement?
My family.
