A new multistorey hospital facility to deliver more services to Brisbane patients is being built.
Greenslopes Private Hospital is expanding to provide 30 additional medical consulting suites and two levels of car parking on the existing footprint of the hospital.
CEO Tim Daniel said early works started on Monday 3 July 2017, as part of the hospital’s master plan.
“We are always striving to build the best possible facilities for our patients. This is a particularly exciting milestone as it will help us cater for the ever-growing health care needs of both the hospital and the community into the future.
“The project will further cement Greenslopes Private Hospital as a leading provider of world-class health care on Brisbane’s south side,” said Mr Daniel.
The new consulting suites and car parking is expected to open in the second half of 2018.
Greenslopes Private Hospital has had a string of new developments including a new radiation oncology centre, a cardiovascular suite and work is currently undergoing in an entire wing to create more single room accommodation.
